11:23 am	The National mmmm... Its been a busy week well if you exclude the fact that it wasn't busy at work then it was I went to the beach last saturday apart from the wind it was great on sunday i had blinvisible over we watched a couple of movies and spent some time in the pool on monday because it was ephant's birthday i made an effort to go back home given work shenanigans i was too late for the picnic but i got there =) tuesday was Spamalot it was awesome and therefore well worth seeing on thursday evening i went to the Rooftop Bar with some of the other vaccers there is a few too many stairs to climb before you get to the bar but otherwise it was a nice evening to be up on the roof and of course last night we went to see the National mmmm they were brilliant i hadn't been to a concert since seeing Copeland which was at the corner too the National were worth the wait absolutely amazing! mmmm today i'm cleaning up because tomorrow my teacher gets back from Japan the rain is currently hampering my efforts given there were a number of things to be excited about over the past week it feels a bit strange but i think i am most excited about tomorrow mmmmmm and it can't come any sooner well i best get back to the cleaning seesya later Lucky Current Mood: excited (2 Comments |Comment on this)

8:46 pm	Halfway there I have been at Deloitte for 2 weeks now halfway through the pre-christmas stint most of the students i started with will be finishing in less than 2 weeks it feels likes its gone really quickly I am enjoying myself the tasks I am being given are getting more interesting I have been out at Timbercorp since thursday the 29th so a week and a half my schedule seems to keep changing i was only supposed to be at Timbercorp until last friday then it was until tuesday now i shall be there for the rest of this week as long as there is work for me to do there i don't mind a few of the other "vaccers" have been in the office most of the time with little to do so i feel glad that i got lucky with my manager and engagement team who are making sure there is stuff for me to be doing last friday i got my results i am pretty certain i failed my industrial exam, but i did not fail any subjects i am glad that the subject for which i failed the exam there was 30% worth of assignments and no hurdle requirements, thus i passed with bare mimimum, 51 hooray! i have a Major in Applied Mathematics this makes next year look comfortable i will have a bit of flexibility for my subjects i think i will finish OR i am also going to attempt a few HPS subjects for some variety speaking of next year i have been scheduled for an extra week of work plus i shall be doing 45 hour weeks post christmas due to busy season i hope this helps my financial situation i feel quite broke at the moment i still have to visit the dentist a few more times too hmmm work has made me sleepy seesya later Lucky Current Mood: accomplished (2 Comments |Comment on this)

1:29 am	Le sigh! my week and a half off has resulted in a bit of a spending spree a few trips to the dentist has left me feeling a little bit broke i hope i feel less so in a few weeks time but i have a new suit and a new pair of shoes and hopefully my other pair of shoes is to be made comfortable again for Monday in other news i shall bow down to peer pressure and acquire a facebook too many people have been suggesting i get one for me to ignore them all tomorrow night is my last shift at Mobil for at least 12 weeks i don't think it is possible to quit given the current state of finances but we shall see how things turn out come February Mmmm Say Anything they made my trip home enjoyable I am however skeptical of blinvisible's prediction seesya later Lucky Current Mood: cheerful (Comment on this)

8:28 am	Waah Waah Waah i missed out on a WLA yesterday not fair i hadn't been in so long and i was looking forward to it too not to mention that ephant and i had organised it well in case you didn't already know the reason we didn't attend was our place flooded enough damage was done so that we were not able to leave until about 9pm and we cannot stay at home till at least Sunday night maybe even as late as Tuesday and that makes everything worse because i keep thinking of things i was supposed to do or that was going to happen or how my work routine will be ruined or how i don't know where and when I'll be sleeping its just horrible i've had a night to "sleep" on it but things don't look much better this morning waah waah waah! ok i've had my rant on the plus side maybe i will have a few WLA's since i can't eat at home probably monday about 7.30pm and tuesday either at about 4 or about 8.30pm who's with me? nearly time for class now seesya later Lucky Current Mood: aggravated (Comment on this)

12:30 pm	hmmm procrastinating sounds like a good idea right now i've got a test this afternoon its at 5.30 thats too late to be using your brain for academic purposes i can't be bothered studying further for it so here i am i should also be doing some research for my assignment but i don't know where to start i'm trying out factiva to see what it gets me so while i wait for it to produce lots of stuff to read i thought i would waste time there is too much stuff to do at the moment i didn't feel like i got much of a break mostly because the days i took off from studying i spent running around doing things i went to stay at my parents for a few nights it was my dad's birthday on tuesday so i was there for Easter Monday and we had a family dinner it was good i ate lots on Easter Sunday i took the train from Frankston i went to blinvisible's parents place and there was lots of food to be eaten i had my fair share and afterwards we went to the football it had been quite a few years since i last went the game looks a lot different live rather than being viewed on a tv on the saturday i went rollerblading with stephania88 it was fun but my body complained for a few days this was another activity i had not undertaken in many years it was as though the skating rink had not changed since i was last there the music they were playing was old and the venue looked a bit run down on saturday night just gone i went to see Puppet Up the best part was when they got someone from the audience up to use a puppet it was evident that it takes some skill to use them and it was funny to see the audience member trying sigh well i best get back to it Factiva came up with lots of articles to read including one in chinese hmmm seesya later Lucky (Comment on this)

10:26 am	hmmm.... hmmmm well its been over a month since my last post nothing terribly exciting has happened uni has started and made me feel busier stephania88 started her new job during 0-week so there has been more reason to see her on the weekends a few things we have done in the last month have been gone to the Guide Dogs open day been in the Audience of Australia's Got Talent attended a few 21sts, mmm cake (except that at two of them i didn't get any Boo!) went to the Moonee Valley Festival for the last 2 Sundays i have worked and for the next 2 i shall also work these are extra shifts i would like to have a permanent weekend shift again now that uni has started but at the same time i am happy that i can manage to work 3 weekday shifts the extra monies is good though so i accepted the sunday shifts at the moment i am on a break it seemed best to post now i haven't posted for the last month because i haven't felt like it when i have been on a computer and when i have felt like it i have been too far away from a computer to actually post i can't see myself posting too often in the future either well that's about enough I'm hungry now seesya later Lucky (1 Comment |Comment on this)

3:52 pm	Mmm Driving today ephant and i went shopping i drove down to victoria st to go the fruit and vegetable shop after getting lots of vegies we decided to go to the meditaranian supermarket not knowing how far it was we got back in the car turned out we went around the block, found the place, and parked in the same parking space and walked there as a result we didn't have to go up Sydney Rd to get to Safeway so i handed epahnt the keys after shopping at the Meditaeranian supermarket after a little nervousness from both of us we succeeded in getting to Safeway with all of our limbs and not a scratch on the car ephant did wonderfully it was the first time that i had been an "instructor" and the first time in a few years that ephant had got behind the wheel i was dissappointed in a few hopeless drivers who decided to honk us but ephant remained composed and managed to park the car magnificently whilst having to pay attention to many things i look forward to giving more lessons to ephant after shopping we came home and made some tofu salad mmmm well i'm off seesya later Lucky Current Mood: accomplished (6 Comments |Comment on this)

12:51 pm	Holidays and Discworld since my last post i have had two four day weekends the first was spent with stephania88 on the peninsula it was great friday was my grandfather's birthday he turned 96 and couldn't stop telling people it was his birthday he had fun we had fun and he got to sit next to stephania88 hehe it was good seeing the whole family and to have stephania88 there as well the whole weekend we had super weather for going to the beach we were less than 5 minutes walk from the it it was great i hadn't been swimming for over a year on the sunday we went bowling i couldn't remember the last time i went bowling but it showed for the first few bowls that i hadn't been in a while i think in the first 5 bowls i only knocked over 7 pins suddenly something clicked and i started bowling well and in the second game i bowled the best i have ever bowled i got a score of 163 but stephania88 became upset because i doubled her score in that game oh well afterwards we went for icecream in Sorrento to cheer her up mmm marshmallow and fudge we were forced to return home on monday night so that stephania88 could be on 1v100 it was all worth it in the end because she was part of the mob and won monies hooray! tuesday, wednesday and thursday proved fairly mundane for me just work and a bit of shopping but friday meant the beginning of the Australian Discworld convention i had lots of fun i got to see Terry Pratchett himself and to hear him talk and have him sign books for myself and for ephant i got to see ephant and others in Mort i learnt how to play a new game that i thought was fun and challenging so i now own a copy of it i also attended many panels, which involved interesting discussions and information the only problem i had was that you couldn't attend everything and due to the programming there was a few occasions that i wanted to be in multiple places at once i assume though that if the convention runs again it will only be bigger and this will mean that there will be even more on and thus it is a problem attendees will always have overall the experience was well worth the money i paid for it i think its time for lunch seesya later Lucky Current Mood: cheerful (8 Comments |Comment on this)

10:19 am	Yay Holidays Tomorrow i get to go away i have 4 days off again so i am going to Dromana with stephania88 tomorrow is also my grandpa's birthday he will be 96 so we will stop in at my parents place that is the only thing that we must do on our holiday i have been looking forwards to this for the last month i managed to fill my last weekend with a visit to velvetmafia's to watch a movie or 2 a day at my sister's place listening to the radio a visit from blinvisible for dinner and a movie a tai chi lesson and lots of cleaning it was good because i didn't want to spend 4 days in a row doing nothing and now the house looks clean and tidy and i hope it impresses ephant's overseas guest who is arriving next weekend now all i have to do is pack and get through one more shift and i can consider myself on holiday best be off seesya later Lucky Current Mood: cheerful (Comment on this)

1:17 pm	Am i Busy? it feels like i haven't had much time for seeing some people or doing things i think needs doing but i don't feel i have been doing all that much to be saying i am busy working 3 days a week is feeling good there is time for other things and i have not felt completely exhausted as i have in previous summers i have managed to catch up with a number of people i don't see that often over the past two weeks also fitted in a day at the tennis and a day at the prerelease it felt good to just play i didn't really want the cards so i just played two headed giant and got crittcrud to pay for the both of us it was worth it to him because we won a few packs despite being a bit rusty and making a few bad errors we didn't actually lose a game but we had 3 draws i have also been able to do some practice over the last few days not being extremely hot has helped i stupidly agreed to work today instead of tomorrow so i had to cancel a Tai Chi lesson and it means i am working 3 days in a row but on the plus side i get 4 days in a row off the question is what to do with them i moved the tai chi lesson to monday and tomorrow i am going to my sister's place at least for lunch hmmm well i slept in this morning so i haven't done any practice yet best be off to do some now seesya later Lucky Current Mood: blah (Comment on this)

2:28 pm	Its too hot....at least there is Cricket its been hot for too many days in a row now i didn't feel like doing much yesterday and today i only went shopping because we were running out of food in our house at least there has been cricket its been quite entertaining so far some good bowling some good batting and despite some rain it looks like having a result at this stage last week i went to the cricket for 2 days with blinvisible and some of his friends from his high school it was fun the cricket was not quite as entertaining on day 1 and we got wet and a bit burnt but the atmosphere was good and i got to see a piece of history being made on the weekend i didn't have to go to mornington so i didn't it felt good not having to drive any large distance for once i will however make future visits to my parents i did forget to take some things home that i intended to and there is still things for me to be doing there i miss my doggies sometimes i get to play with stephania88's puppy sometimes but he's not mine so its not quite the same on new year's eve i visited blinvisible we watched some entertaining movies instead of picnicking i went to stephania88's we were to have a few friends over for dinner it was to be a quiet affair but then more people stopped by than i think we were both expecting and stayed for longer than we expected it was rather enjoyable and i drank a little too much so that i didn't feel like doing much on New Year's day but not to much that i was sick or anything like that 2006 was a good year some changes have occurred mostly for the better and i am happy with how my life is now that the year has ended well because of the wheather i have felt like cooking much i've been making salads they were yummy now i am making a pasta salad best be off to finish preparing seesya later Lucky Current Mood: happy (1 Comment |Comment on this)

1:37 pm	Another Chapter Ends Ho Ho HO! i am currently waiting for christmas lunch/dinner to be ready i think there is at least an hour for that mmm food yesterday i worked in the morning i was at Rosebud and in the evening i was at Moorooduc it was the last time i will be working a rostered shift at these sites i have not officially quit working for Mobil on the Peninsula but since i have no rostered shifts on i don't have to work anymore for them i have now enough work closer to home to not have to come down to Mornington i intend on coming down still but not every week in the morning a customer came in and said "your back" he had noticed that i had only worked once or twice at Rosebud in the 6-8 weeks preceding yesterday i then told him that it was my last shift at Rosebud and he said that he would miss me awww some of my regulars were really nice and it appears that some of them actually appreciated me later before i left for work in the evening my mother spoke to me about our dogs my little sister has booked a trip in June and no one but my parents will be home to look after the doggies my mum doesn't want to keep them anymore this made me sad and i didn't feel like working too hard at work i wondered about where we would have to send the dogs but the only place i could think was with my older sister but then they have a cat already hmmmmm today i slept in i didn't get out of bed till 11 last night i had stayed up to watch Strings i thought it was a pretty good movie the last 2 years i had to get up for work which started at 6.30am this year there was no reason to get up early i feel better for the sleeping and i still did fit in some practice and there is still more time before the food will be ready mmm food well i best not neglect the family any longer seesya later Lucky Current Mood: blah (3 Comments |Comment on this)

4:04 pm	hmmm it feels like today was a bit of a waste i still have to go to work but it doesn't feel like i did much today i didn't get out of bed till 9 and by the time i ate breakfast it was 10.30 my sister called asking for a lift so i agreed i ended up sitting at her house for 2 hours waiting for her to be ready i am glad i brought a book to read and at least there was mango offerings i hope tomorrow is somewhat better i have plans lets see if they all fit nicely and nothing feels like a waste i think today i spent far too much time hoping tomorrow would come sooner best be off to get ready for work seesya later Lucky Current Mood: blah (Comment on this)

9:53 am	Yay Marks got results today they were better than satisfactory i even did aswell for ACE as i did for IFA last year they were such similar subjects hmmmm but i think the lecturer for ACE was far worse and analysis gave me my best second year maths subject mark the waiting is over but there is still pain grrr Current Mood: accomplished (2 Comments |Comment on this)

9:30 am	hmmm its been a while since i made a real update i've been rather busy and when i haven't been busy i haven't felt like posting ( my pain and anguish ) in other news i got through my 4 exams probably passed them all i turned 21 had a few celebrations went to many other 21st celebrations in the past 6 weeks decided i would stop working in Mornington on christmas eve watched a fair bit of cricket read more books in the last 6 weeks than i had in the 10 months preceding it went to see a couple of movies ate lots of cake mmm cake and there is still some left in my fridge =) Current Mood: irritated (5 Comments |Comment on this)

11:58 pm	hmmm well i got that assignment finished and got it marked and returned to me within 4 days which was good i now know what i was doing wrong so i can improve myself for the upcoming exams i started my study on Saturday but found enough things to distract myself so that i didn't sit there for 9 hours despite this i still got through 2/3 of the problem sheets for my maths subject why i didn't do them during the semester i don't know now it didn't take me that long to get through one of my distractions was making a costume for Ally's party i went as a card because i was too lazy to do anything better i enjoyed myself at the party, some others didn't appreciate this i need to learn to dance =) my only problem was that most of the food was cold by the time we got to eating it hmmm stephania88 was Alice i don't think anyone else was Alice either yesterday i worked 10 hours straight it didn't feel that bad after the first hour it was strange that i felt most tired when i was starting on friday night i didn't have to work due to working Thursday night so blinvisible took me to play DOTA it was fun but i remembered that i used to play without having to pay money for it and then i felt that it wasn't really that good value hmmm a wing loong adventure afterwards was enjoyable since i hadn't been there all semester too bad ephant's tummy didn't enjoy the experience as much well i best stop distracting myself i need to drive home soon seesya later Lucky Current Mood: content (Comment on this)
